Congratulations! After two kids, an engagement that seemed to drag on forever and endless wedding talk between Joel Madden and Nicole Richie finally end. It was getting to the point where these two either needed to do a huge blowout wedding or just a private banquet, because the plan had gone on which seemed like lasting several years.
Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are rumored to be married at her father Lionel’s house in El Lay this weekend. And the beauty has some fantastic plans for her wedding day!
More details have floated out about the happy nuptials and we’re thinking that this will go down as one of the weddings of the year!
For her big day, Nicole has selected a gracefulMarchesawedding gown with 80′s style lace design which takes 20,000 dollars. The dress is reported to be a white, custom-made piece and when she and personal stylist Simone Harouche flew to New York last week for her final fitting, Nicole was said to be absolutelyexcited.
It is also said that Bryon&Tracey Salon in Beverly Hills will be styling Nicole’s hair.Meanwhile, Nicole’s best friend Masha Gordon will serve as maid of honor, Joel’s brother Benji is best man, and Nicole’s daughter little Harlow will be her flower girl.
As for her 150guest list, the ceremony is said to be small and intimate with just close family and friends. Most of her celeb-pals will be attendance, such as Kim Kardashian, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz. Samantha Ronson (who is rumored to be a bridesmaid) will also be included. However pal Christina Aguilera has said she will not be able to make it since she is in Europe promoting Burlesque.
A source said that “Nicole is going for a vintage and romantic vibe. The wedding will be true to Nicole’s style. Nicole cut down the guest list because she didn’t want a huge wedding.” And sheis not willing to invite a bunch of her celeb friends. This has apparently upset a bunch of people.
Sources say that even if the wedding will be taking place at Lionel Richie’s house, he will not be singing at his daughter’s wedding. However Joel Madden loved the idea and is hoping for a family jam.
The highlight of the wedding is Nicole’s walk down the aisle. Sources confirm the Nicole requested her father’s 1986 hit song Ballerina Girl be played for the occasion! Then, at the reception, Lionel reportedly sang You Are to his girl and his new son-in-law!
