This year movie actress Nicole and country singing star Keith celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary with a romantic meal. Four years ago they got married and held a traditional Catholic wedding ceremony at Cardinal Ceretti Memorial Chapel in the bride’s hometown of Sydney, Australia. 200 relatives and friends were invited to attend their wedding celebrity.
On that day, a crowd of people swarmed into the street which leads to the church, some of them climbed trees and the stone wall, trying to get a glimpse of activity inside. Nicole Kidman, accompanied by her father, appeared in a flowing white Balenciaga gown with a bouquet of white roses and waved to onlookers with a smile. She looks really elegant and wonderful in the silk-chiffon bridal gown paired with diamond and pearl earrings, and the ivory rose behind her loose curls matched her whole appearance well.
Decorated with more than 1,000 flickering white candles, the church was filled with romantic and warm atmosphere. Their ceremony was performed by the Kidman family priest Father, Paul Coleman. After being pronounced husband and wife, the new couple walked up the aisle, accompanied with Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy” and ringing church bells which indicated the service was over. Guests showered them with white rose petals.
Later, a reception with a passion- theme was prepared beforehand in a white marquee next to the church; it was filled with red carpet, red roses on the table, and red carnations hanging from huge chandeliers. Their wedding cake is a three-tier raspberry and mascarpone with rose scented raspberry syrup and organic rose petals. During the reception, the newlywed asked for no gifts from guests, but expected them to donate money to the Sydney Children’s Hospital. Finally, every guest could take home a Tiffany & Co. desk clock engraved with “A Moment in Time, June 25, 2006, Nicole Kidman & Keith Urban.”
