Celebrity Weddings- German Captain Philipp Lahm’s Wedding



After German won third place in the 2010 FIFA World Cup, German football player Philipp Lahm known as one of world soccer’s best full-backs had another reason to smile.

On July 14, 2010, the soccer star said ‘I do’ to his love, Claudia Schattenberg-Philipp Lahm married. The couple, who has known each other for ten years, began their special day with a traditional and intimate civil ceremony in the small Bavarian town of Aying, around 25km south of Munich, where Lahm played at Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

Philipp Lahm’s Wedding was held as a low-key affair without national coach Joachim Loew and his World Cup teammates. Only teammate Andreas Ottl from Bayern Munich and 100 family and friends attending Philipp Lahm and Claudia Schattenberg’s wedding ceremony. This is just evidence to the request by the Germany Captain Philipp Lahm that a private wedding without the media hype and the curious.

Lahm looked so manly and passionate when he held his wife’s hand in a black suit and white tie adorned with white roses.
